GCAN Benefits

I no longer feel like we’re facing challenges alone. GCAN is a lifeline—whether you’re navigating policy changes or brainstorming service innovations.

Janelle R., Day Program Manager

Join GCAN today and be part of the change Georgia’s I/DD community deserves.

Becoming a member of GCAN means becoming part of something bigger—a movement to protect and improve the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) across Georgia.

Your voice matters. Your experience matters. Your membership matters.

Here’s what membership offers:

Stronger Together

Connect with other providers, families, and advocates who face the same challenges and share the same goals. GCAN creates a space where ideas are shared, concerns are heard, and solutions are developed—together.

A Unified Voice

As a member, your voice joins hundreds of others to advocate for real change. Whether it’s protecting service choice, addressing overregulation, or pushing for rural transportation options, GCAN amplifies the voices of families and providers at the local and state level.

A Seat at the Table

GCAN ensures that those directly impacted by policy decisions—individuals with I/DD, families, and providers—have a say in shaping the future. Membership gives you influence and visibility in discussions that matter.

Access to Resources

Stay informed through meetings, trainings, and shared resources. Get real-time updates on funding changes, service regulations, and advocacy opportunities that affect your community.

Support When It Counts

GCAN members have a network to lean on during challenging times. Whether you’re facing agency issues, policy uncertainty, or looking for new ideas, GCAN is here.

As a parent of an adult with IDD, GCAN gave me hope. I know someone is out there fighting for choice, quality, and dignity—not just for my child, but for all families like ours
